The Big Shanty Bassmasters held its 2022-2023 Awards banquet this past Thursday, January 4th, 2024.
2022-2023 Top Six Anglers for The Big Shanty Bassmasters L-R, 3rd place John Drew(1114 Pts) 2nd place Jeff Bowen (1160 Pts) 5th place Chris Brummitt (997Pts) AOY Larry Giddeons (1205 Pts) 4th place Stan Hudson (1088 Pts) and 6th Place Danny Perdue (875 Pts)
By finishing the year in the top six, theses members had the opportunity to represent the Club in the State Championship held this past December at Lake Hartwell. Danny Perdue was unable to attend so Member Josh Sams filled in the last spot.
Other Awards handed out were:
President Stanley Hudson was given the president plaque for this leadership over the past year
And Big Fish of the year went to Chris Brummitt, a nearly 5lber from the Wedowee Tournament
