2024-2025 Club Classic

The Big Shanty Bassmasters hosted its Club Classic for the top 6 anglers from the 2024-2025 tournament season this past Sunday, October 5th, at Lake Sidney Lanier, known as the Spotted Bass Capital of the World.

In attendance were AOY Adam Rule, 2nd place Danny Perdue, 4th place Stan Hudson, 5th place Russell "Fish Puck" Scholes, and 6th place "Coach" Quartell Wright. Derrick Lowery, who secured 3rd place for the year, was not present.

The weather was less than ideal, with a strong breeze coming from the East at 15 MPH and light to moderate mist from midday until weigh-in. The water temperature was in the mid-70s and clear, and the lake level was 3.5 feet below normal.

Coach Q secured the victory with a total weight of 10.44 lbs, highlighted by a nearly 5 lb Big Fish.

Stan "I hate Lanier" Hudson took 2nd place, and AOY Adam Rule finished in 3rd.
