August Tournament results

The Big Shanty Bassmasters ended their 2024/2025 season this past Saturday on Lake Neely Henry in Gadsden Alabama.

Even though the weather across the Southeast was cool leading up to the event, the water temperatures remained in the high 80s. The lake was approximately one foot lower than usual and had a significant stain. Saturday morning began with cloudy skies, but by midday, the sun emerged.

On to the results

Coach Q secured first place with a 5 fish limit weighing 9.39 lbs. Adam took second place with 8.69 lbs after a fish care penalty. Stan earned big fish honors with one nearly 3 lbs.

With that, we conclude this season. We would like to express our gratitude to Tournament Director Adam Rule for this year's season and events. Being a Tournament Director is not an easy task, and we appreciate the time he dedicated.

We start a new season in September with a few changes forth coming.
